Greece Goes Back To The Center Right As Mitsotakis Defeats Tsipras

The Greek general election of Sunday, July 7, 2019 saw the center right, New Democracy sweep left wing Syriza from power. Kyriakos Mitsotakis faces an uphill struggle to steer Greece to recovery. He will not be helped by the return to politics of Yanis Varoufakis.
